A "Dermal" involves placing a small anchor under the skin with a decorative top that sits flush on the surface. It creates a "floating gem" effect.

These require advanced technique and diligent care to prevent getting caught on clothing. We use titanium anchors with holes to allow tissue to grow through and lock them in place.
